We purchased a Dr. Breus bed at the Manchester, CT Better Bedding (next to IParty) last week and it pleasantly arrived the next day. Unfortunately, I had the worse sleep ever and could not get comfortable". We understood the "30-day return" policy to mean we could return or exchange it as we would any other retail purchase (full refund or partial refund for a lower priced replacement)/. That used to be the policy!. But according to the fine print, there would be a $249 charge and we could only exchange it for an item of equal or greater value'.
This was an unfortunately misunderstanding, but it got worse when the store manager, Shaun, was rude and refused to help;. He told us to call customer service, and washed his hands of the situation,.
We went about 100 yards to the Sleepy's store (in the Babies R Us plaza) and the store manager there took the time to call customer service for us and got the whole thing resolved satisfactorily". The Sleepy's store did not get credit for the sale, but they understand what good customer service is all about'. Hats off to them for going above and beyond. 129a80a

Written by TPS on April 8, 2011 from des plaines, illinois, US Hi Team Issue: Credit Letter not received Details: I bought a mattress for around $700 in 2009 and that mattress lost its strength after using the same in a year. We called and the mattress was inspected and they found that the warranty doesnt stand good for the matress because their were blemishes on the mattress but they can give credit to me for the Spring as that was defected. Q-1 When the Spring is defected how can the mattress be 100% secure? Ok, I agreed to the representative and told her to execute my credit for the Spring and she did the same and told me that I will receieve a credit letter within 4-5 business days. I waited for 2 weeks and when I didnt receive the letter I called again on around 13 or 14 march, I was told by another representative that the letter was not posted before it was posted on 7th march and I will get it within 4-5 business days. I again waited for 2 weeks and called back again and spoke to a representative (Anna) who told me the truth that the letter was never posted to me and she coordinated properly and told me that she sent an email to the delivery department and I will receive the letter within 4-5 business days and today I called again and spoke with another representative and was told that their is some thing else going on. So Its been over a month I am suffering with all this harassment and the letter is not with me at this point of time. I think for Better beddings customer means nothing, that is the experience I take with me. Thankyou |
